The Midwest Scholastic Coaches Association has announced new dates for the 2010 Tournament which will take place at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, OH. The tournament will take place Friday, May 7th and Saturday, May 8th.

BALTIMORE — US Lacrosse has announced the names of the players earning a spot on the 2009 Boys’ High School Academic All-America team.  In order to be considered, players must be in senior standing, must be nominated and must meet the minimum academic achievement requirements from their respective US Lacrosse region.  Specific academic criteria may vary from region to region.  Each pre-determined geographic region is allowed one Academic All-American selectee for every 10 varsity teams in the region.  Only varsity coaches that are members of US Lacrosse may vote in …

This past weekend held some big moments for a few high school lacrosse teams in the Midwest and thus a few big-time players stepped up and led their teams. A senior All-State attackman proved why he received that honor as he helped lead his team to a Texas state championship.
